    Default Help with GEM Micromatic

I picked this up this past week, with a case for $8. The push button had an "easy" action that would open itself up intermittently. I thought, let me just wait till I clean it, might have some gunk somewhere. Now that I have cleaned it, it will not stay closed at all. The pushbutton will not stay to keep the lid closed. Any advice or suggestions?

Doesn't the bottom twist to open and close it?

Yeah, micromatics are TTO, not pushbutton.

Like they said, that razor doesn't have a button. You turn the bottom of the handle to open and close it.

I feel like an idiot. Thank to so much. Last month I was PIF a newer push button so I just assumed. The twist at the bottom was "stuck.". Thank you so much. Excited now.

Don't worry. Ask the questions no matter how daft they seem. Lord knows I have....

Enjoy your first Clog-Pruf shave! Just about to go have my first.
