Default StubbleShavers Blade Thoughts (EVERY BLADE AVAILBLE)

    The Great Blade Experiment
As a thank you to everyone here at B&B i have decided to give a little back to the community and
as a little 300 post celebration i will attempt to sample and review every single blade on the market
any PIF's of blades not on the list are very much appreciated but if not i'm sure i will get hold of
    them some how.

I will allways use Cella for the first shave as that is my Go-To soap. the Second Shave will be a
varible and will differ from one blade to the next. I will list what products i use for each shave.

I'll take 2 says off a week (Thursday and Friday) while i am away at work. This means that
i will label some shaves "Saturday" shaves, this means i have a few days growth and the
blade will need to mow through that.

I'll update this post aswell as posting a "OP Updated" post when i do so. I hope you stick
around for all the blade reviews. sit back and Enjoy!

    Gillette 7 o’clock Super Platinum

    Shave 1:
Completed Cella Soap and Brut AS. Very Close Shave. 2 Nicks but very happy with the results. 8/10

    Conclusion:
Amazing Blade. The best i have ever tried. A LOT better than the feather (YMMV). Smoother, more friendly blade. Final Score: 17/20

Nick Rivers: Hillary. That's an unusual name.
Hillary Flammond: It's a German name. It means 'she whose bosoms defy gravity'.
Nick Rivers: I'm pleased to meet you. My name's Nick.
Hillary Flammond: Nick? What does that mean?
Nick Rivers: Oh, nothing. My dad thought of it while he was shaving.

How long are you willing to take? This will take months at the very least.

4 Months (114 Days) i worked out to sample every blade on that list. The list, however, will expand as i come across more blades and (hopefully) blades get PIF'd.

I applaud your effort - GD Carrington has done an extensive review on lots of blades, too.
Interesting to see how much alignment between your results and his.

Seems you are not ready for your little science project. A dictionary and a calculator and you are good to go!

(I will never forgive for trying to compare Edwin Jagger soaps with arko. Never!)

I also had my first go of a Derby today my skin is sensitive so most of the time I can only manage 2 passes, 3 if the bald is smooth enough, those 2 passes left me with what looks like the onset of a 5 o'clock shadow. Have you heard of Tesco/Boots DE blades they're made by the same factory that make Israeli red personas, though read some posts on various forums saying they made to different specs and preform better. They might be one to add to the list.

Yeah, if they are the "Israli Double Edge Blades" in white paper with no brand stamped :).

Thanks for the incoming blade PIF's by the way!

Are the Israli (sp?) Double Edge Blades "Red IP's"?
