In Which Direction Do You Load?

For shave brush usage I am right handed. I switch directions.

Both. I do 100-120 swirls, changing direction every 20 or so. Changing direction helps me focus on how long I'm loading. I'm right handed and the first 20 are always clockwise.

Just curious if there is any correlation between hand dominance and direction of loading.

I'm right handed and load my soaps and croaps with my brush by swirling my brush on them clockwise. It just feels weird to go counterclockwise.

I load in both directions, always have.

Right handed, clockwise. I usually do a few swirls the other direction too. Not sure why, but it seems to help for some reason. Or maybe not. Dunno.

I as well. This is definitely my "autopilot" mode, although I do make a conscience effort during the shave to occasionally do some swirls counterclockwise. Why? Why not, it makes me feel more "balanced," is the best reason I can give. Just one of those traditions, if you will, that I put into practice every shave.

Something so small that I don't put much thought into it, but I think I would feel out of step if it was forgotten.

So maybe I do put too much thought into it!

I think swirling the brush in the "outer" direction of the hand you use is the option the majority will choose (lefties = counter clockwise, righties = clockwise).
I too chose that option. I'm a lefty and I load my brush counter clockwise, the same way I mix my hot beverages.

Depends where you are. In the southern hemisphere counter clockwise :) In north America clockwise

Voted Right Handed/Clockwise, but only on the rare case that I load from a bowl. I face lather, so I just rub soap on my face and work it up there.
