Well I shaved with the Cedar & Sage last night. For the first time using a soap I built a decent lather that I hope to improve on with continued practice. The scent was great and the shave a DFS. Looking forward to the other scents.

Just ordered a Bay Rum tub.
    And a shampoo bar
    And a facial soap.

Guys how does the MW bay rum stack up against other bay rum shave soaps in the industry? I'm on the fence on pulling the trigger as I don't have a bay rum scent in my rotation.

OK I shaved with Prospect Creek this morning and found it to be an wonderful shave!!! Not as cold as QCS Vostok, but still very refreshing!!! I am still dialing in the lathers, but I was able to get a good to very good lather built which resulted in a DFS. The scent was a nice peppermint with eucalyptus. This is definitely going in my summer rotation.

For me, Mystic Water Bay Rum is a much better bay rum scent than I've experienced. That mixed in with the soap itself... I believe you'll have an incredible shave! It's the best bay rum soap I've experienced.

Never tried another bay rum, but I can thoroughly recommend the MW. Great scent, great soap.

Got my 10 Samples in the mail today...great size and the smell is awesome.
Did a very small test lather of the Bay Rum as I've never smelled it before, not sure what it's "supposed" to smell like, but it's great !
Converted to straights...that didn't take long at all...

I had my first shave with the MW Coconut yesterday, man what a great soap! I had no problem lathering it. I added some water to the soap and put my Simpson Special BBB to soak before I jumped in the shower. I shook out most of the water from the brush and loaded it for about 20 seconds. Then I slowly added water(quite a lot of water) and the soap made an exploition of great slick lather.

I had no problem lathering the soap, and it has a great coconut scent I still smell in my bathroom today. I love it!

Used the Wild Lavender today!!! This is a great scent!!! I built a very good lather and had an enjoyable shave. The scent stayed with me for about 5 minutes after finished. Overall a great soap that will stay in my rotation.

I was having trouble lathering MWS, no matter what I tried I just could not get a decent lather. Despite this I still got great shaves and my skin feels GREAT after. The solution? More product, for me this meant my snurdle. I decided to pull it out to try the IKL I got from QCS today when I noticed that it looked a lot like my MWS. I saw they were both tallow soaps so I scooped out about half a snurdle and lathered it up with my Omega boar and got this beautiful lather I keep hearing from others about these tallow soaps. I tried it out again tonight with my MWS and once again I got TONS of awesome lather. Apparently I just suck at loading up my brush. If you keep getting a thin watery lather you might try cheating a bit. It worked for me and I finally got to experience some artisan tallow shaves in their full glory.

got my MW shipment last night.
Bay rum in a tub smells fantastic!

Shampoo soap works great, and body soap performed well too. I feel Mystic sparkly clean from head to toe.

Michelle also included a couple freebies - I think she has a customer for life in me.
