Default What to wear with a Cream Blazer?

I just bought a cream blazer at a thrift store and i am honestly not sure what to wear with it. I know that some grey or darker slacks would go well with it but im not sure what kind of shirt or tie would be appropriate.

You might want to give a few more details and picture. What's it made out of for starters?

Nice, but I wouldn't recommend wearing it while you're refilling your fountain pens.

    ... no.

For summer evening wear, do a more casual riff on the old tropical white dinner jacket ...

... but maybe with mid-gray pants instead of black.

You could wear it over a darker waist coat and trousers in spring or autumn, there was a talk on the subject at a vintage club in the UK.

when you say "darker waistcoat" would something like black be preferred over olive or grey?

also, i am almost certain that it's made of linen.

White shirt, tan pants, panama hat ... daytime. Substitute a light pink or light blue shirt if you like.

Evening ... white shirt, mid-gray dress pants, lighter-coloured tie

Keep it simple. Dark jeans, black shoes or clean and simple monochrome running shoes, strongly coloured shirt, no tie. Baker boy cap or similar to finish. It's not a formal jacket, so I wouldn't kit it out as if it's something it's not. also, make sure the cuff sits no lower than the trapezium.

I think bright colored shirt would be my move.

Just an update, but i wore it to work today with some black slacks, a white button down shirt, navy tie with Texas flags on it ( it's not as cheesy as it sounds), and a maroon pocket square. Got several compliments, including from my boss and several coworkers. Thanks for the help everyone!
