PAL single edge blue question...

I've been using the PAL blued carbon steel blade and really like it. I've been buying the 10 pack at a local Mexican grocery store. Ted Pell sells a PAL blued 3 faceted blade, 121-20. The blades I'm using have "009 RD" stamped on the spine. The Ted Pella blades have "PAL" stamped on the spine. Are they the same blade?

From what I have read they feel different. I read the pella ones are rough...

As a follow up, I got a chance to try out the Ted Pella PALs. I loaded 2 identical Micromatics, one with Ted Pella and the other with the blued PALs I've been using. I shaved three passes with the two razors. One for each side of my face.

Disburden is right on. These Ted Pellas were very rough. The cut was the same, just really uncomfortable with the Pellas.

I'm glad I got the chance to try one before I ordered 100.
