Ordering from WCS - How's the shipping time?

What carrier do they typically ship with? And how much would an aftershave slow the shipment down?

Regular orders shipped priority mail, take 2-3 days to NJ. Orders with aftershave have taken 5-8 days.

Everything has been 2-3 days for me in Vegas, with the exception of one item that became back ordered when I submitted mine or shortly before. It's been a couple of weeks now, still waiting, they tell me it's a holdup with customs.

Aftershave will double the shipping time, for me anyway. I guess it really depends on where you live. I despise Fed Ex for it. But, it's free usually, for me anyway, I try to hit the free shipping mark every time.
Regularly they use USPS Priority. It's a two to three day ship that way.

I live in rural AK (off the road system) and my last shipment was ordered on a Friday, and got here on Monday.

I live in California and had the pleasure of placing an order with WCS for the first time this week.
Order was placed on Sunday.
Called to make a change on Monday morning, small addition.
Lili was super-nice and actually added it free of charge (thank you!).
It was shipped the same day and arrived on Wednesday.
Call me impressed!

I live a couple hours away from WCS. Once I ordered Monday morning and got it Tuesday afternoon. They have a reputation for being reasonably quick in if you're CONUS.

Same thing here - they usually ship out the same day as I order, and stuff has arrived in the Bay Area the very next afternoon!

Be sure to call ahead to make sure someone's there - it's not a 'store', just their office and warehouse that has a small counter up front.

I placed and order with them, and they shipping it almost immediately. I was pleased with the shipping speed. However since I am in Canada, the order did take a bit long to get here due to customs, but that is beyond their control.

You mentioned getting aftershave. That will ship via Fed Ex, which slows it down. WCS is the best and one of the fastest around. But they ship aftershave via Fed Ex and Fed Ex sucks.

Due to alcohol content aftershave cannot travel by air. It has to be picked up by a designated FedEx Ground truck and remain earthbound until it arrives on your step. So that takes longer. I have had nothing but a good experience with FedEx.

I'm not sure this is the right place for the question, but I didn't know where else it would go.

Anyway, I'm heading out of town on Friday of next week but was hoping to get a few shaving supplies before I fly out [blades, maybe an AS]. In the vast experience of my fellow B&B'ers, if I ordered from WCS tonight or tomorrow, would I likely see my shipment before next Friday?

I live in Canada and placed an order with WCS on June 20. Picked up the parcel on the 28th, and that included customs. There's a very good chance your order will be to you by next Friday!!

I did just that, and stopped by today during my lunch. Very cool! Yes its just the little counter up front, and then all of their stock is organized on shelves in back. Lili and Kevin were the two I dealed with, and they were very nice. Lili showed me where everything was and let me look around and sample the smells of the products (Finally I can smell before I buy!)

Definitely tempting to go in and spend a lot of money with all those great products right in front of you like that! Luckily I made it out with just a puck of Mitchell's Wool Fat, a sample of trumper's limes, and some DE blades.

Anyway, they seem very friendly and efficient and I'm sure you(the OP) will be pleased with your order! I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Thought I'd update this... Ordered on Friday night, got my stuff today! That's very quick in my books, and as such I'll be ordering from them again.
