The B&B default answer to questions of this nature is always "buy both". In the case of Speick, this is what I'd recommend, especially when you consider the price of trying both as opposed to a similar venture into the world of Penhaligons, i.e., around fifteen bucks for the former and a hundred for the latter.
Still, the I believe the question asked for a preference, and I'll join the minority opinion that the cream is the better of the two.

Ouch, that was what I thought, too...until I grated the soap.

I think you should definitely try the cream......after you try the stick![]()

I have the stick, cream and splash. I like the stick slightly better than the cream, and use the splash after both of them. Get all three, and if you don't like them trade on the BST, can't imagine them lasting long. If you don't want to go for all three, the stick is great, been using mine the past few days to finish it up. Mashed the last bit in a bowl, and it works great in a "puck" too.

My stick was grated into a bowl long ago. Still prefer the cream, but I can understand you preference.
At least we can all agree on the magnificence of their splash!
I plan on writing an article on the easiest product on the market to over apply- the Speick aftershave balm. One drop seems to be too much.

Get 3 sticks so you can grate two into a bowl and have one left for your dopp kit. Get the cream. And the splash. Oh, and the bar soap for showering before you shave. Just get em all at once to save on shipping.

I think the stick is a little "smoother" of a scent than the cream. It is my preference, but I grate mine into a ceramic bowl. Plus, it has the tallow. Really like the scent.
I prefer the stick over the cream. And as someone else mentioned, their bath soap is really nice too.
Many hot dogs are within you.
I too bought both. I can comment so far that the cream is fantastic! I have not yet had a chance to use the stick.

I have a cabinet full of creams from companies that start with the letter "T" and have tried most popular sticks. I have the EF Tallow and luxurious Blenheim Bouquet cream. I can get a good lather with MWF, with or without adding cream to make it "super"-whatever.
And my go-to shaving lubricant, at home or on the road, is Speick stick. Good solid shaves, smooth as heck, pleasant smell.
The cream? It reeks of eucalyptus. I'd rather shave with Vicks Vap-o-Rub.
Of course, as with all things, YMMV.
Try this for a treat (did it yesterday): shower with Speick shower gel, wash hair with Speick shampoo, then shave with Speick cream and use both the splash and the fresh balm as after shave treatment. Finally the Speick body lotion and the Speick deodorant.
You can't have too much of a good thing!

You can't go wrong with any Speick product. I use the cream on Saturdays when I'm in a hurry and the stick gets used on a regular basis because I like to use sticks on occasion. It has a wonderful scent and has a good price point. Go for both!
Life is for the birds.
I like both; I prefer the stick since I like using shave sticks in general. As soon as my one last puck of Taboc is gone, I will be 100% stick.

I have the cream and the stick. I prefer the cream.

Another vote for the stick.
