Hey guys. I've been killing it at the garage sales lately.

    Does anyone recognize this razor?

Looks like a pocket edition, possibly this one.

    Awesome, thanks!

It looks like the engraving on mine is totally worn off, which is a bummer!

Edit - Maybe there wasnt any engraving on this one... they must have had two different caps?

A nice one, too. Great find, congrats. One of the prettiest razors Gillette ever made. I think some were contract but pretty never the less.

Produced under contract by American Button Company, the ABC razors are certainly among the most ornate of Gillette's offerings. Well made and well plated, they clean up very well and are quite exciting to find in the wild!

ABC Pocket edition caps are smooth. Yours looks just fine. If anything, you see monogram engravings on the cases from time to time. I'm a big fan of the basket-weave case, myself. Your set looks lovely. Give it a gentle cleaning and use it. It's a great old-type open-comb shaving experience.

Nice find in the wild! As folks have said, it's an ABC Pocket Edition -- specifically a Basket pattern set (click below to enlarge):

From the latch closure, I'd say it's probably a pretty early one, too. For a bunch more info and pictures you should check out these two threads:
