Feather / Kia shavette blades question (Cobra)

Blades with a guard or blades without a guard?

What is your preference for the Cobra?

What is the difference (besides the guard)?

I've never tried the Feather Proguard blades but I have tried:

1. Kai Captain Titan Mild blades
2. Feather Professional Super blades
3. Feather Professional blades

My preference for blades is in that order for the Cobra. I did not like the Feather Professionals at all. They felt very rough to me and gave me tiny nicks all over my face. The Feather Professional Supers were a lot better and the Kai Titan Milds are the best. To me, they're as sharp as the Feather Professional Supers but a whole lot smoother and more forgiving.

I've never tried blades with a guard so I couldn't tell you the difference.

I find the guards to be somewhat scratchy probably due to the guard. I got to try a Kai Pink and liked it. Will be trying the supers later, but have had no weeper or nick problem with either.
