Mantic seemed to give a positive review of these.
I still think cartridges are definitely for some people- not enough time, not enough patience, poor hand-eye coordination (and I mean more because of health/age). I definitely know there is a market for cartridges, just I think it should be smaller than the market it today.

If laughter is the best medicine then why do sick people go to doctors instead of comedians?
I've heard positive things as well (not overwhelmingly, but positive). Check others before me links as they beat me to it.
Well, not that the WSJ has much noteriety anymore, but I just saw this guy Mike on today's front page of "the Marketplace." I checked the video and the points are valid. I could have definitely used one of these the past 3 days. I've those days worth of "worldiness" on my head and face that need attention. I'll give them a look, but like @thatsilverguy mentioned, my skin is in much better shape since I moved to the str8 a few years back.
If you don't know and I don't know, how do you know that I don't know?
I used the Bic metal 2 baldes and Barbersol and shaved for about a dollar a month. But that was finding Barbarsol for 50Cents a can and a coupon to get a 8 pack of Bics for 2 bucks.

Those commercials are funny.
Sorry for partyin'...

I just read this on Yahoo today. It's kinda cool. But I am not tempted anymore since I'm pretty satisfied with my safety razor.
Best commercial I've seen in years!

If he had put that idea into action about 5 years ago there might very well be far less new DE shavers out there today.
Soylent Green is people!
I hate to admit, I'm actualy tempted. For certain lazy shaves, I'll pull out the Mach 3 (blasphemy!) and my wife uses one as well. This is a great idea, really.

I signed up for it. I figure for the price of a nice cup of coffee ($3) a month, its worth testing out. But I definitely agree that if this existed four years ago (I started DE shaving in mid '09), I probably wouldn't be here. Then again, I would not have found out about this if it wasn't for being here. So I just ripped open a hole in the universe!
A good deal for those of you still using cartridge blades.

SEMPER GUMBY
Yeah I heard about it before.
If you go to the website it's not a good a deal as it sounds, though.
The $1 a month doesn't include shipping and handling.
They got 2 levels above that.
The next level above that is $6 a month with included shipping and handling and has 4 blades.
The one above that is $9 a month and has 6 blades.
Funny commercial, though.
Kind of weird that they started with a big splash and then.....nothing. Their youtube channel just has the one commerical.
Funny stuff though.

That was a pretty funny video. Shame it's not that great a deal.
