I can Finally Tell the Futur :o)

For a while now i wanted to Paint the Numbers to my Futur Which only has about 3 uses, Don't know why i stopped using it, but its a nice Hefty Shaver, and all though i have small hands it fits Nicely and Feels Right.

OH now i Remember why i stopped using it i don't let my beard grow to much, but i think if i set it to 1 i can use it as a Daily Shaver

So Finally i can tell which number i'm on as i Painted the dots and Numbers Black and the adjustment indicator Red, its a lot easier on the eyes.




Ill take this one for a test drive this weekend

I used Testor's Paint Gloss Black and Red. They had a lighter Red but i was to light, this one for me was just right.. you can find testors paint at any hobby shop

Well done! I wouldn't be able to do this myself (and I like the way the Futur is just fine), but it sure adds a lot of useabilty.

Thanks Roxy, Also i got a can of Goof Off Spray, put some on a Napkin and wiped of excess paint i couldn't get off with my fingers, Turned out better then what it thought it would :o)

Painting the numbers seems very tricky to me. The more I look at it, the more I like it. But I dont trust myself with intricate work like that....

Its Really Easy, all i did was follow instructions from This YouTube Video, but i Taped Right under the number and Above the Numbers as well, I used Gloss Black, Looks alot better then flat, at least i think so, Also Gloss does stick to the metal pretty fast, so what ever didn't come off around the Numbers area, I used some Goof Off Spray, put some on a bounty and that extra left over smuge just disappears, I did it Three Times and let it Dry at Least 6 hours Each time.

Go for it, it not that hard

It should look just as good, if not even better because the Satin isn't as shiny as the Chrome. if you ever attempt it post pics up and PM me With a link of photos so i don't miss the post :o) I LIKE Pictures.....

Center Line Adjuster indicator "Black"

That would be Wild with all those Colors LOL
