Hello. I have heard all good things from whatever I could find on the internet about the vendor Star Shaving. I have been looking at synthetic brushes and want to get one since I am not happy with all of the 2 brushes that I own. They are too floppy and I just cannot tolerate it. I have heard good things about the Frank synthetic shaving brush and the only vendor in the US that sells it in the US is star shaving. I have heard they ship quickly. I have also heard that some people have problems with the knots being crooked and leaning more to one side than the other. Therefore, I made sure to write, "Make sure the knot is perfectly straight" in the seller notes while checking out. However, I have been expecting an email that tells me the item has been shipped for the past 4 days. I ordered last thursday night on the 21st of June and have heard no word form star shaving about my package. I called several times and got lots of rings and then some strange fax-machine sounding noises when I called the number on the website or no answer. I also found another number which I think is Ron Lucas, the owner's, personal number but I found it on theknifegroup.com through a google search. That phone went to the answering machine and I called a couple hours ago. I have been checking my email everyday awaiting the shipment of the brush I very much want to try but I never see it. Sometimes I check multiple times a day and nothing not even a response to the email I sent to [email protected] asking if the package has been shipped yet. I really don't know what's going on. I heard the owner had a surgery a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything since then. Also, I heard that while he was having surgery, his daughter was fulfilling orders and that was 2 or 3 weeks ago according to information on a forum I found through another google search. If anybody knows what's going on, please tell me because I hope my package isn't lost and I paid the little bit extra for priority shipping.
