First time something like that happens to me.

I know what you mean, I had the same thing happen to me smoking Mac Baren HH Vintage Syrian in a Savinelli Duca Carlo Prince! People can be dumb, panicy, dangerous animals.

Nice pipes by the way, theclassicgentleman, nice ones for sure.
Thanks for the complimet about the pipes, I really love these pipes, they are so cool and a definate conversation starter; especially the big one!

Gurnall, I contacted the people at the webist you mentioned and this is the email they sent about ordering pipes

    Hello Brian,

Please send us your requirement details by an ordinary email.

Code no of pipes and their quantities that you need.

We can quote you prices after receiving this information.

    Regards,
    Deepak J.

So I guesse we send them an email requesting the model and amount of pipes we want and they will send us a quote as to how much the order will cost.

Down here in San Diego, if I ever have my pipe out in public, there are at least a few people who ask me if I'm smoking anything illegal. And if it's not an "authority figure" they usually follow with..."you should". Sigh...

Oh well, certainly isn't a common thing down this way. Cigars tend to be tobacciana of choice.

Anyway, interesting pipes you got there. Are those perhaps meerschaum lined?

Actually no they aren't meerschaum lined, the do have a marble or granite funnel shaped bowl. I supose one could say they are meerschaum lined, but the material is actually marble or granite. They smoke really nice.

This is an awesome pipe! Personally I would rotate the bit to where its facing away from the bowl Hehehe

As far as the wood, I'm not sure what it is either. It looks like a few different woods; maple bowl, mahogany sitter and oak tube, but thats what my eyes see

A very awesome pipe just the same, I've always wanted one like this but they are pretty hard to find.

Haha. Yeah I rotated it first.

Blade Boy thinks it's cherry. I was kind of thinking that because I've seen a few french pipes in cherry before and the grain looked about right for it.

This pipe is fantastic. Smoked it a few times and like it more with each smoke.

OK, this is a very unique pipe, I have never seen one like this before. I have to take a look at the website to see how many more unique pipes are there!

Got this one in the mail today. It's a Ropp standing cherrywood pipe made in france. Just got it in the mail but I got high hopes for this thing being a fantastic smoker like my other standing cherrywood pipe.
