    Osage Orange handle with 20mm TGN Finest knot
    Pure Tung Oil finish, then waxed

    Thanks, though the Decoration Elf would have produced a much nicer accent at the bottom. For now, I'll have to stick to my parting tool and salt water leader material :)

    Hey whatever works! I used a sharpened melon scoop once with some interesting results!

    That is a truly beautiful brush!
    I've never been a big fan of Osage Orange, but I may have to reconsider that opinion.. I've been looking for a wood or material that I could turn to satisfy my craving for a butterscotch - that would come close.

    Very nice! I've been a fan of Osage Orange ever since I saw a mallet made out of it.

    Beautiful brush! I love the color and the shape. How did you do the accent lines, some sort of wood burner?

    I use a parting tool to make the line, then burn it with leader material I use when saltwater fishing.

    Funny you mention that- one of the mallets I have in the shop I made of OO. It's rock hard.

    - I like the knot choice too I am in the market for the exact same knot, I assume that you have not used it, but how do you like the knot thus far?
