I didn't realize it was a silvertip. $25 seems very inexpensive for a silvertip. Is it as soft as other STs?

This is a very generous PIF from Kooze; I have a brush using a Whipped Dog knot and it is quite soft. I'm sure everyone here would enjoy such a brush.

Reason I got into this was I was tired of getting nicked after every shave, googled razors and this is where I ended up. Bought super cheap razor to try it out and I love it. Now that my razor is almost toast I'd like to get a nicer razor and maybe some better soaps, brush etc. I wouldn't call myself a collector in regard to the equipment but I love trying out new soaps.

I'm in. I've never used a badger brush, just my VDH boar brush. The firehouse handle looks great! I mainly shave my head more than anything, but am shaving my face to be able to try one cream/setup on the left half, and a different variable on the right half. I'd love to try a boar brush on one side, and a badger on the other.
