woo hoo! My order from Spain arrived today, and I needed a pick me up since I wasn't able to score a C&E BBB this weekend during the 20% off sale.

    In my order

1 - huge 300ml bottle Floid Suave aftershave
1 - huge 300ml bottle Floid Vigoroso aftershave
1 - slightly smaller 150ml bottle Floid Vigoroso aftershave (for someone else)

    6 La Toja Shave sticks
    6 Lea Shave sticks
1 fancy pants La Toja Shave soap puck w/fancy pants wooden bowl and fancy pants cork stopper

I have been waiting so long to try this stuff, tomorrow is going to be an excellent morning. Hopefully it will help keep my mind off of the head cold I have and the 14 hour workdays I've been putting in.

A big kudos to emilius for going out of his way to get all of this stuff for me. Thanks bud!

    Mark,
I see a BathTub Gin stick in that lot. Was this a direct order from QED? A number of folks might be interested in whether this is now part of the standard QED linup.

Ditto - my EF soap arrived this week too. Very nice. Great scent. Excellent shave.

    Enjoy!

Yes, it was an order from Charles at QED. From what I can tell, BathTub Gin in the stick is part of QED's standard line. You can not get the BathTub Gin in the jar.

Thats a beautiful brush Jim. Is it the lighting or is the color of the hairs dark? Really high score on the Drool-o-meter.

Its a European Grey I guess you could call it a "best" if you wanted to compare it to another maker but the hair is so resilient and soft at the same time that its not quite accurate. The tortoise handle is very nice as well but is hard to photograph. Thanks,

Snagged one of those nifty Darwin safety razors at the antique market this past weekend.
Also a Super Speed in the box from ebay; a bit of a gamble in that you had to take the seller's word the razor was in the box and had no idea what kind of shape it was in.

After taking my 11 year old lad to the dentist

I called in TK Maxx as it was my birthday

They had 150g tubs of Taylors' "Mr Taylor" and "St James' Collection" for a fiver

I said to him: "Which one?"

    He sniffed....................

    He chose "Mr Taylor"

I'm sorry, Rob. The correct answer was both...
