    Default Ebay non-delivery :(

I won an ebay auction on June 13th, and the tracking number said it was delivered on June 18th(USPS). I check the shipping address is correct.

I don't get it. Did someone steal my package off my porch? I live in a pretty safe neighborhood and get packages about 3 times a week.

I'm trying to figure out what i should do. Contact the Post office? Contact the Seller?

Sometimes the mail carrier will have a hangover and deliver it to a neighbor or someone else...
All he/she does is scan the barcode and stick it in a box or leave it on a porch if it won't fit in a mail box...doesn't mean they left it at the right address.
Take your Delivery confirmation number to your local PO and have them do a trace on it..it will tell you who the actual carrier's name is that made the delivery, etc...

I have had that happen. Get with your carrier they may remember what happened. Mine did.

I had that happen too. Checked on the tracking and it said it had been delivered two days prior. It takes forever to do a claim, but be patient. Mine showed up about 10 days after supposed delivery. Good luck!

Or it says delievered but its still on the truck because the postman forgot it. I had my package delievered and it took 4 days to get to my door because it was left on the truck for so long due to them being swamped. Hope you find it soon but don't wait to long to do a claim

I went to the post office today and asked them about it. They had me call a 1-800 number and talk to customer service. they are looking into it. The guy said they will contact my carrier to get the scoop and call me back tomorrow.

It was a pretty pricey opencomb 30's aristocrat

The post office will be of no help. Your carrier is the one you need to speak with directly to jog their memory. There is a good chance the will remember where they left it.

On Saturdays we have the weekend guy deliver the mail, and if it rains, any packages larger than the mailbox take a ride back to the post office for the weekend. One morning I sent my kid in the rain to the mailbox as the mailman was about to leave. Lo and behold, he stopped, and handed my offspring a box. I am sure you box will turn up.

This begs the question, if the package shows delivered, can you file a claim for a lost package? It would almost be better to either insure a package without delivery confirmation, of send it signature required.

This made me laugh-I don't know why but it did. I got a visual of Kent sitting there in his flip flops and saying "boy, go and get me that package" Poor little 8 year getting soaking wet and coming back with yet another razor. HAHAHA

I second this. I regularly chat with my carrier (I usually have a lot of return receipts to sign for, so we come in regular contact) and have found they're generally pretty nice people, and have a better memory about these things than you might think!

Probably just a mix up. Good luck! Lets see the razor when you get your hands on it

I was able to speak to my carrier. I caught him down the street. I told him where I lived and he knew my name and my fiance's name! He remembered delivering two packages on monday to my house, but they were both for my fiance. He doesn't recall delivering a package addressed to me, and he said if it said the package was marked "delivered" on the website than he must have delivered it and maybe someone stole it. :(

he was a really nice guy, but he had no better explanation than it must have been stolen. I'm going to wait and see if it comes by the end of the week, then i'm going to being trying to get my money back.

It's BEYOND shameful that outfits like USPS and UPS can simply throw something down on your front porch, unsecured, and claim that it was "delivered".
