I couple of movies i watched showed the lead characters shaving

for example:

Pan's Labyrinth (2006):Captain Vidal shaves with a straight razor and a spanish horse hair brush.
K-19 the Widowmaker: Captain vostrokov (Harrison ford) shaves with a straight razor.
Valkriye(2008): Colonel staufenberg(Tom cruise) shaves with a DE.
