Stopped in the thrift store today and spotted a pocket knife behind the glass counter....
2 nice surprises when I turned it over....the price and the brand!!!
Case Model 06263 SSP Eisenhower
Bit of corrosion on the inside
The handle seems to of turned white in areas...
Blade is in very good shape
Close up of the tang stamp...looks to be double stamped, not sure why, maybe an older knife being re-dated??
I think by the stamp style and 9 dots it is a 1981, but Im not sure
Cleaned it up and it looks and feels really nice
Got to love thrift stores

I always carry a small texas toothpick slip joint on me, a backup razor blade in in my phone case, and depending on what attire I have on, a more tactical folder or small fixed blade, usually a Kershaw or a CRKT.

I carry a Spyderco Delica 4, VG-10, foliage FRN scales. The pocket clip is loose now though due to me foolishly using it as a bottle opener...
I will be retiring it later this year for a Chris Reeve small Sebenza.
My parents came back from a trip to the Smoky Mountains. They stoped by Smoky Mountain Knife Works & brought me back a 2 blade Case knife.
I will try to find a pic later.
Thanx!!!

When I was in California for a friend's wedding recently I picked up a really stunning production knife - a Maserin Consoli. Fileworked liners and spine, impeccable fit & finish, stabilised wood handle, and CPM S35V steel @ HRC60.
I simply could not believe my eyes when I saw it for $150 in a tourist trap area. Apparently they use CNC machines in their production.
I have since ordered (via web) two other knives from Maserin's lineup and I can't wait for them to arrive.
