What's under your lip?

The long portions are pretty good for being discreet. about the same amount of snus, but in a longer and not quite as wide pouch. I've not tried any of the "mini" portions, but I think they are smaller than regular.

Took me a couple days to get used to the paper. Rubbed me pretty raw the first day.

I am using snus for the first time right now. I found a store that sells the General Swedish Snus and I bought three cans/containers of the classic blend but I just discovered that I bought a smaller trial size.
I find that this snus really satisfies and the paper does not bother me after it has been in my lip for awhile. I really wish the serving size was smaller, I want the size to be small enough that you cannot tell I have anything in my lip.
After I use up General brand I want to explorer more brands.

Well, this isn't something that I've "announced" officially yet, but I no longer work for Northerner as their VP. Northerner has stopped it's distribution of Swedish snus in the US, but will continue to sell online. Kretek International, Inc will take over the distribution of the snus products. They've been our distribution platform for well over a year now and doing a great job.

I'm now working for Kretek as the OTP Category Manager for the US and Canada and my product portfolio contains, Jakobsson's snus, Thunder Snus, Oden's Snus, Offroad snus, General Snus, Toque snuff, Silver Dollar snuff, EZ Cig (electronic cigarette), Arriva and Stonewall. Everyone should start seeing a much broader distribution of our snus and snuff brands.

Thought I'd post this little update here, and let anyone know that if they have a retailer that they'd like to see carry any or all of these products, to get me their info and I'll have one of our sales guys give them a call. It's very likely that many of your local retailers already buy somethingfrom our distribution house, so adding snus or snuff should be easy ;-)

Pretty much been sticking with General White Mint the past few months, getting me through those long workdays and helps curbs the cravings I have for sweets since I'm trying to lose a few pounds. I did pick up a tin of Jackobbson's wintergreen today. Forgot it's the extra strong haha.

+1, i agree with you. General and Jacobsons (available in local shops) are much better.

Was the tootsie roll taste of it a good thing? Sounds interesting.

It was better the first few pouches. It's not horrible, but I don't think i'll get it again.

Interesting topic gents, I had never heard of snus until I found this thread. If I have it correct snus has less nicotine than dip/chew and you don't have to spit? As a longtime user of Levi Garrett, this stuff sounds interesting.

Have you seen the Snus thread by ClubmanRob? we need to get that post in here, it's like a bibles worth of info on the topic.

I have been using Oliver Twist chewing tobacco bits for several months now. I am tired of the Oliver Twist and I want to try a snus but I do not know which one I will like and I do not want to buy one of each to try them out.
I would like something that does not come in the paper wrapping,I am sure I will not like the paper and something that has a very strong tobacco flavor. I am not interested in fruit or wintergreen flavors at all. I have looked at several websites that sell snus and they do not make it easy to figure out what flavor the snus is you would be ordering.

I really liked the black licorice Oliver Twist.. tropical.. was the best tasting chew I've ever tried, but there isn't enough product there in the tin to last me more than a few chews and it's $8 a tin now. I am taking notes on the rest of these snus' and will try as many as I can.

Ok, so I'm ordering up some Oden's Extra Stark Licorice, Roda Lacket Los, Thunder Coola, and some General Los. No more wintergreen for me.. All I've ever chewed were US brands and that was merely for the nic kick. I'd like to enjoy my chew though. I'll try to post my thoughts as I try them.

Tried a couple cans of Jagerpris, not my favorite. Jacobsson's Classic Strong has become my regular, but I got some Thunder and Oden's Extreme to try out as well. Got a can of Blue Ocean too, not too bad but it seems a bit dry and weak.

I like Ettan, but since it doesn't have any flavoring it falls a little flat compared to General or Roda Lacket. I like the little bit of flavors that are added to snus generally.

Edit: I still plan on getting more in my next order though.

Cracked open a tin of Ettan. This is great fresh, but dries out before I can finish the tin. There a good way to remoist this stuff without too much hassle?

I'll put my pinky under a stream of water from my faucet, and after it's dropped some excess I bring it over to the snus tin and drop a couple very small drops in. Then I close the lid, toss it around a tiny bit, and throw it in the fridge for a couple of hours.
