Obsession is my father's scent. Nothing wrong with it at all. I am more partial to the Obsession Night scent.

On Monday, I picked up that book again and the card dropped out. I could still smell the traces of Fahrenheit. Since then, I've been sorely tempted to buy some. Should I? Is this my midlife crisis? If so, it's probably going to be cheaper than a vintage Jag E-Type or Madame de Pompadour in a country villa. But will I love it, or the spell be broken after one spray?
It's nok like you're dedicing if you should marry a woman or get a child
It's just a fragrance - but a very nice fragrance.

Fahrenheit is among my all time favorites - and YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY BUY IT, if you have tested it and liked the smell of it.

If you want a less petrolic smell, get the just as good quality just as well smelling new Fahrenheit Absolute - I love and own both, a 200 ml new Fahrenheit and a 100 ml Fahrenheit Absolute and love both to death

The "petrol" scent that everyone seems concerned about fades within the first fifteen minutes. What remains is sublime. I have been wearing it since 1989.

Buy it; you won't be disappointed.
I am still dreaming. Still, am I?

I wore Fahrenheit for a brief period. It's definately unique but once the novelty wore off it started to bother me. I don't recall that the motor oil / gasoline note faded after application, it stuck around for me.

I just sampled this again after reading this post. Thought I'd give it a second try. Didn't do much for me the second time either. The petrol smell went on way longer than I wanted it to and I wasn't enamored much by the drydown. I asked my wife and daughter what they thought. Knowing nothing about frag they both picked up the petrol note and turned up their noses. My wife said it smelled like old tires! A definite thumbs down from both the ladies in my life. Maybe it's a frag for poker night with the guys. If you enjoy it you should get it.
