Good evening all. I've been lurking around here for a bit, reading about people's experiences with DE razors because I've grown tired of using a cartridge and wanted to make shaving a less monotonous task. A friend who recently got into DE shaving suggested I stop by here and learn about various razors, blades, and soaps. So, after a few months of scanning the forums, I've gotten a nice razor (Muhle R106), a big sampling of blades, and some MWF soap.
So far, I really like shaving with the R106. The whole DE experience is so much more satisfying than spraying some gel from a can, smearing it on my face, and making a few swipes with a 5-blade cartridge. I'm already looking at adding to my razor collection with a Merkur Futur.
