  1. Default Getting kind of rough under my chin...

I'm getting better shaves since converting to DE, but I'm starting to have some trouble under my chin. I have a few bumps and rough patches there which lately I've been cutting rather consistently.

The problem is the lather covers the area, and then I can't see where these bumps are so as to avoid them. Not sure what to do - skip shaving down there for a few days and let things heal up, or what?

Otherwise, I'm getting good shaves and can go WTG, XTG, and even ATG on my cheeks and the jawline. My theory is that this trouble began with some ATG shaving under my chin a few days back.

    Advice?

Give it a couple of days to heal up if you can. The problem is that the angle is ever changing and the razor has to adjust for that. Give it time and it'll come together.

Yeah, give it a couple to calm down. When you're shaving before you make a pas in that area, remove the lather before going over it with your razor. This will allow you to see the area, and the whiskers will still be soft from the lather.

    +1

I would add that when you wipe away the lather, you rewet the area. Barbers used to do that all the time.
