Yes... a port-a-potty that has been filled to overflowing and sitting at a construction site in the middle of Atlanta in the summer... but that's just me... Scents are very individualistic and the organics and maybe non-organics in a scent will affect people quite differently. What turns into urine on my skin may smell like a lilac forest on someone else. It seems the Veg really does choose you.
I put it on hoping to be one of the chosen. The first hit smelled like baby powder (common with Clubman stuff and me) and then... then... the dogs ran out of the room (really)... the wife gave me the stink-eye and then a look of horror. The toilet flushed twice by itself.
I traded it to Doc a month or two ago.

Shucks, I was hoping to hit you up for the rest of the bottle. But thanks for your "appreciation" of things all the same. Sounds analogous to the andouillette they serve up in the Parisian bistros, which has a faint, occasional odor of unwashed hindquarters that many American tourists find to be repulsive. (Does the monsieur know that l'andouillette is "spéciale" ? Yes, indeed he does ! So maybe, just maybe, I might be standing in line to be chosen by the Veg...)
Anyway, my shave #9 with the Dovo finds the edge delivering as good and consistent a shave as ever. One thing that my recent flirtation with the T-I Grelot has shown me, though, is that the Dovo edge seems a bit rawer in comparison.

Shave # 12

Keep going, Doc. Don't have to do it all in one string. HHT4 after 12 shaves? Holy crap. This will last for months!

last night was #11 with the monster on its jnat edge.... bathroom looked like a murder scene when i finished the shave...... totally NOT the razors fault.... apparently my throatal *(medical term so doc can follow) region decided it was a good night to "goosebump" up for no damn reason at all..... razor is still extremely sharp and just removed the tops of said goosebumps with ease.....
lots of pink lather last night.... oddly enough once the stypic did its work stopping the blood leakage from 99.3% of my throat and i waited for a couple mins and washed it with a warm rag i found i had a DFS....
woke up this morning no blood on the pillow... so that was a really weird shave experience.....

I do, too. But that sounded like a nightmare.

Ouch! Sorry to hear of Paco's latest shaving mishap. My own shave #10 with the Dovo did not go so well this time--definitely a lack-of-smoothness thing rather than a lack-of-sharpness thing--so it looks like I won't be able to keep up with you Big Boys from here on out and will instead be rooting for you from the sidelines. Once a week on the rocks for this guy would appear to be a conservative approach. Thanks for the inspiring thread, Doc.

Don't know about inspiring but its taught me some, I really never thought I would go this far.
I am also going to see what it takes to bring the edge back once is poops out. I will give it laps on plain water and check, then if needed slurry with the tomo and so on until it shaves nicely again
