Default WTS: (Worth a try) Japanese forged GOLF CLUBS

Hey guys. I've got a set of clubs that aren't getting much love, and thought I'd run them past this crowd before they went to the Bay.

These are a custom set of blade irons, forged by a Japanese component company called GeoTech. They are soft steel, buttery smooth, awesome clubs. The only markings on the heads are the club number on the sole and a small "Made in Japan" on the hosel. All in, I've got about $1,000 into this set, and they have seen maybe 60 rounds in the 4 years I've had them. I take care of all of my clubs, so they are in great shape.

If you are thinking of picking up golf, or you like golf but aren't very good, I'll be happy to recommend a set for you, but don't buy these. :) These are pretty much as unforgiving as you can get. If you are still reading, here are the specs:

    ` 4-9 irons, plus a 21 degree Mizuno Fli-Hi hybrid
` Custom (semi-flighted Rifle 6.0 shafts (these are original Rifles, not PX, flighted a bit less that the shafts that they sell as "flighted")
` 3/4 inch over standard length, lie is 2 degrees up, lofts are old school standard
` Midsize red and black Golf Pride dual compound grips
    - The pitching wedge is nearly mint (has only ever been hit on the range), and the 9-iron has a small ding in the sole (I've tried to show it in the pictures). All the others are somewhere in between. Aside from bag chatter, there are no other dings or scratches worth calling out.

I'm going to put them on the Bay in a week or so with a starting bid of $300, but I'll let you guys have first crack at them shipped for the same $300. PM me if you are interested or if you want more pictures.

those look like the mp32s. if they are anything close to those in performance, someone is going to get a steal.

i played blades years ago. five years of being a dad has greatly reduced my golfing, so i'm hitting mp58s now.

They are a little closer to the MP-33's, but this set actually replaced a set of MP-32's for me! Those were hard to let go too.

Don't know about the heads, but I had a set of MP33's with the flighted rifles--probably the best shaft I ever played. That was before I had two kids & could play more than once a month

Sounds like a great deal for someone 6'2" that can at least occasionally break 80.

    Too bad they're right-handed!
I'm still playing my old MacGregor Tourney 1025CMs. They still do the trick for me.

Nice clubs, but I'm too much of a hacker. Good luck.
Uncertainty. Something you can count on.
