I think he does intimidate people to the point where they become a wobbly mess of nerves and confusion. I guess he's like a Jarhead Drill Instructor or something -- weeding out the weaklings. He reminds me of the Drill Instructor in Full Metal Jacket. He doesn't play around.

That guy is freaking hilarious. I am surprised no one smacked him (I for sure would have if I was cooking with him).

I prefer Gordon's Great Escape, it often sees him as the one learning from the masters!

Yes, could watch those time and time again. Also some nice insight into authentic Asian cooking. I've actually adopted a few things into my own recipes based on that series.

Love that show! Sometimes I answer random questions from my wife with "thaaaaats numberwang!" She's never seen it and is just confused.

Hells Kitchen is great if you want to see how many ways a person can screw up beef wellington & risotto and then watch them get yelled at for it.

I do like Master Chef once they actually get into the competition.

Yes watch masterchef... The blind gal is a good friend of mine and I can say an amazing cook! Though I can hardly watch it because I'm afraid she'll get booted one of these episodes

Well, that's why that M+W clip is so hilarious; the show is essentially the same ‘recipe’ each time... He goes in, sees how bad they are, they get worse then he gets angry, and eventually they see where they go wrong, he forgives them and they make up... etc.

To me it is an over edited staged for entertainment tv show- in other words total crap. He would be wearing a 12 sauce pan on his nose if I was there.

I really enjoyed the first few seasons of HK but the last 4-5 seasons have just seemed really outlandish and heavily scripted for maximum drama/comedy and in turn have killed my interest. I miss the old original Iron Chef, now that was culinary entertainment.
