Missing trench coat belt

So I found a great trench coat at the thrift store. high quality, a+ condition, my size. Only problem is the belt is missing. Since it is not an "executive", I need some advice. What are my options here? I have found alot of advice online for replacement belt for womens trenches, but a severe lack of good advice for mens trench coats with a missing belt. Please help me.

Option 1 is to wear it without a belt. Option 2 is to check who made the trench coat and contact them about a replacement belt. Option 3 is to find a beat-up trench coat with a belt in a thrift store and buy the coat for the belt. Option 4 would be to see if a seamstress could make one for you. And now I am out of option!

Don't try to match the coat exactly, go with a contrasting color or fabric. All good options above!

If it is a burberry you can get a replacement. If not go with one of the above suggestions.
