Since I got these Chippewas I've become a fan. I broke my ankle in the army many years ago, and now that I'm older the Lace to Toe has provided greater stability then any boot I've had before.

Are there any boots that can be worn with orthodics? I have often heard that boots offer more support for the foot that shoes. I wear custom orthodic inserts that helps me compensate for my left side being shorter than my right side due to premature birth. I would love recommendations for boots that have a removable inner sole and offers support. And looks good!

Thank you B&B! Y'all are the best!
    Best,
    Jerry

Bad picture, but my Alden Indy's have served me well over the last few years. Gonna send them in for recrafting sometime this year.

Alden of Carmel AF64, Kudu leather, lugged soles. Very similar to the 404 Indy's that came out last year, but AoC has been making them for years (the only difference I can see is that the AF64 has blind eyelets and the 404 has agatine).

Just got a pair of "Original " Doc Martens 10 hole boots made in England. I've only had them for a week, but they are breaking in very nicely.

I live in Victoria B.C. and have owned a black pair of Viberg Bobcats for going on 18 years now. I love them At first they killed my feet but now they are really comfortable.

It's definitely great to see that there are boots out there which are not Red Wing or Wolverine. There's nothing wrong with those brands, but I just felt like it was a good chance to see what other stylish options were out there. I feel like I need to start looking for another pair soon enough! :-)

I just ordered the Fifth Street boot in black to go with my brown ones. I also picked up the Long Branch in dark brown. The Long Branches are going to be my new hiking boots!

I'm saving up for a pair of these made to order jobbies from William Lennon from the Derbyshire Peak District. They've been making boots for farmers, foundry workers and countrymen at their tiny factory since 1904.
