    Default New Spring/Summer Decants

I received the following decants on Friday and I've had the chance to try a few of them out so far. I was mostly aiming for summer fragrances.

Byredo Palermo - What an amazing fragrance! Very citrusy with a little fruit. An awesome summer fragrance. I wish the longevity was better though.
ADP Colonia Essenza - I like it, my girlfriend doesn't. Lemon blast during the opening. Draws down to faint citrus and powder.
Pino Silvestre - pine needles (duh!). That's pretty much all I get from opening to drydown. Very green, but not for me.
Demeter Dirt - a very green mossy fragrance. Smells like right after it rained. Another good spring/summer fragrance. Longevity is weak.
Hermes Concentre d'Orange Verte - orange rind and pepper. I like it a lot.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino - haven't tried it yet, but I am really excited to give it a go, smells really nice in the bottle.
Pens English Fen - hated it on first application, but now a love it! It doesn't disappoint with the fern. Seems like a great everyday fragrance.
YSL Kouros - only non-summer scent IMO. I really don't like it. Incense up the wazoo. Too loud for my taste. For now, I'm only going to try this one around the house.

If I had to pick one out of all of them, it would definitely be the Byredo Palermo.

Does anyone else have any experience with these frags? I would love to hear your thoughts!

    Byredo Palermo - no experience
ADP Colonia Essenza - no experience
    Pino Silvestre - no experience
Demeter Dirt - (decant) lost most of my decant in shipping and it stunk up packaging so bad I never gave it a chance, but I may need to revisit this one.
Hermes Concentre d'Orange Verte - (bottle) did not like at first because green note was not expected, have grown to like it but does not last on my skin.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino - (decant) probably my favorite soapy frag and it lasts all day on my skin.
Pens English Fen - (decant) nice soapy everyday frag which lasts all day on my skin.
    YSL Kouros - no experience

YSL Kouros is the only one in your list I have tried. I do not like it. It is the civet note that smells like urine to me. I dislike all frags I have tried with civet. Apart from one of my favorites, TDC Rose Poivree.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino smells like a more refined version of Mugler Cologne. The "sour" notes in Mugler are not as pronounced as in the TF. But, seeing as how the TF is insanely expensive, I think I'll stick with the Mugler.

Your list reads almost exactly like the list of decants I have coming my way, so I'm happy to find that you're largely enjoying them. I'll be sure to share my opinions of them when I receive them.

I hope you got the Byredo. It's one of the best fragrances I've ever tried.

No, unfortunately the only ones I didn't order from your list were that and Pino Silvestre. That said, circumstances make it that I'll be ordering some decants again quite soon, so barring it selling out, I'll add it to my order!
