I work at REI. For those of you unfamiliar with the store, it's a medium-sized outdoor retailer that has everything from camping to cycling equipment. You could think of it as a Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's without the hunting and fishing gear and with a greater emphasis on customer service.
This weekend, there is a 'Friends and Family' event going on at the stores. Employees get coupons to hand out and I've got some extra ones. Details of the coupon are as follows:
- Only good on Saturday and Sunday, June 16th and 17th.
- 15% discount on bicycles, hard-shell boats, stand up paddleboards, GPS-enabled products, personal locator beacons
- 20% discount on anything not in the 15% bracket on a purchase under $200
- 25% discount on anything not in the 15% bracket on a purchase over $200
The coupon won't work for anything that isn't a physical good (gift cards, trips, classes) and because I'm going to be giving out a code you'll have to use it online at rei.com. Shipping is free for all orders over $50 (though I believe that charges might apply for oversize items like boats and bikes) OR shipping is always free to a local REI store. Full details available at this website. 'Normal' REI coupons, which only come out a few times a year, generally have many more restrictions.
If you think that you might use one of these coupons, send me a PM. I have about eight codes to give out, but in the case that I get more requests than I have codes I'll give them out to the PM's that arrived earliest. I won't give one out to anybody who has registered after this post goes up.
