    Default Body lotion scents.

Since most mainstream manufacturers seem to market body lotion to women, most of the scents seems to appeal to a feminine sense of smell; cherry blossom, cucumber melon, floral scents, etc., what do you use for lotions? Do you just stick with cocoa butter, or do you go with a unisex kind of smell like lavender?

Irish Spring has just come out with a new body wash. Its a gold color, and says its for clear fresh skin.

The gym I go to had a bunch of samples, and its really a nice product. Should be in stores now. It has a nice fresh scent, not feminine at all.

I've seen more and more marketed toward men. I've been using a Vaseline for Men body lotion that seems to perform pretty well. Has a masculine scent to it but isn't overpowering. Otherwise I tend to go more for the Lubriderm or other non-scented varieties.

I use CO Bigelow Barber No 1786. It works well and the scent is minimal.

I rarely need it in the summer, but in the winter, I use Eucerin Calming Cream. No scent. Works great and truly lasts 24 hours.

In place of lotion, I use pre shave oil. I dampen my hands, apply a few drops and rub it in, then allow to dry. The scents can't be beat, I'm using AOS sandalwood currently. It isn't sticky or oily in the least, and a single bottle lasts a long time. It leaves my hands smooth and moisturized and my wife loves the scent. Oddly enough, I don't use it as a pre shave.
Body lotions usually have, like you pointed out, feminine scents and leave my skin feeling greasy.
