Default Just tried GFT's Skin Food

I just tried GFT's Skin Food in Sandalwood scent, and I am really impressed.

I've been dealing with a lot of irritation lately and haven't been sure why. I was almost out of AoS aftershave balm (also sandalwood), so I thought I'd change things up a bit. I had heard great things about Skin Food, so I thought I'd shell out the dough to give it a try.

You know when you get in a fight with your wife (or girlfriend or whoever) and you're really upset about it but then they do something cute and you simply can't stay mad at them any more? Skin food is definitely that something cute. My face hates it when I shave and throws a tantrum over pretty much anything that's not perfectly ideal. After shaving today and applying the GFT, I can feel that my skin would be irritated if it could, but it can't.

    I like it.

I had a sample of it and it worked just the same when I can feel it was a bad shave put just a dab or two of Sandalwood Skin Food on my face and the redness goes away even before it appears. Plus it leaves my face feeling great
the scent doesn't last long though. But I think its completely worth it, I bought 500mL from WCS not to long ago

    Great analogy.
Haven't tried it myself yet but it's yet another on my list of wants. I think your description has moved it nearer the top of that list.

How would you describe the scent? Is it similar to AOS sandalwood?

It's very hard to describe the scent IMO, it smells nothing like AOS Sandalwood, but it is good.

Phil at Bull Goose sent me a sample of their Lime skin food a while back. I've tried it a couple of times, but I'm not really sure how it's meant to be used. Nice moisturizer. Somebody give me a clue?

I just rub it on my face after shaving.

Earl when i use it i apply it before a shave like a pre shave oil and then use it as an aftershave

I may have to try that, since I moved to a SR. The SR is a little harsh -- or maybe my technique is!
