Ikon S3S First Impressions!

Well...after having used it a bit...and the OSS; I find them to be built very well (as they should be for $150 and $225) but only find their actual shaving performance "okay" or "decent" at best. Like many others here, I have a fair stable to compare them with (50+ DEs/SEs) and this is very much a YMMV (as is everything else posted in every forum here).

I'm simply not a fanboy of this particular model - just mark it down as my personal "YMMV". With that being said, if someone gets a great shave out of it - congratulations! You've just saved a lot of money by eliminating your RAD.

I look forward to future releases and will most likely pick them up when available.

I own an ej de89,fatip piccolo and an s3s. I'm still a newbie to de shaving but whenever I use my ikon I find it much more easy to handle and I can shave much quicker and more efficiently than with the other 2.

To be fair when I have more time to shave then all three razor are efficient in removing stubble. I find the fatip the more aggressive of the three
