only Coconut cream that was overwhelming favored on here, so i purchased and love..GFT.

great scent, excellent performance.

i wanted to try QCS Custom Coconut and will one day, but for now GFT fits the bill.

GFT is probably the most praised coconut cream on the forum from what I have seen. Its really slick.

Pretty sure that was settled. I promptly got some GFT after that. I heard it has coconut oil in it and that helps, although that was from someone who spoke to a Trumpers salesman and had little experience. I think it just has a great natural coconut scent, with this many reviews you can see it's hard to get it spot on, but they've appeased the majority of B&B, that's difficult. And not just for coconut creams, a lot of people use this as their #1 cream period, from GFT or anyone else.

Oh you said creme not cream. I like the coconut creme at Marie Callendars, but that's the only one I tried.

Trumpers coco is amazing, but give Vito's Extra Super with coco a try too, my favorite Italan soft soap.

I ordered the sample pack from GFT and one of the creams is the Coconut. Which was the primary one I was interested in. I have not lathered it yet, but using the smell test, I can hardly smell the coconut at all. Which was disappointing. The Violet on the other had as well as Sandalwood and others are quite fragrant. Is if just because you have to lather to get the smell started, or did I possibly get a bad sample. I really wanted to like this Coconut.

the sandalwood cream has a "coconut" scent to it? i've heard wonderful things about it, but never had the chance to smell it.

I recently picked up a tub of Geo F. Trumpers Coconut shave cream. All I can say is it's pure luxury! It is definitely giving my QCS Mysore Sandlewwood cream a run for its money, that's for sure! It wipe up a luxurious lather very quick and easily and provides great protection, and although the smell is mild, it reminds me of the coconut cream that you get in a can of coconut milk. Seriously is great stuff!

I also have a tub of Mama Bears Toasted Coconut, which is more reminiscent of a summer suntan lotion/coconut scent. It's not an authentic coconut scent, but it still smells great, and the scent is very strong. Much stronger than the Trumpers, but although it performs really well, nothing touches the Trumpers for me as far as performance is concerned. Been using the Trumpers coconut for a few weeks now exclusively, and the shaves have been so good with it I have not problems using it everyday.

Seriously: what other coconut creams are there besides GFT? (I know of a few soaps, but can't remember of another cream. Even Vito's soft soap has coconut oil, but I hear it has an almond scent, not coconut.)

I recieved a GFT sample pack as well, and while the coconut wasn't the strongest one, it was easily noticeable. I also got rose, which had almost no scent. In another thread about the rose cream it was pretty obvious that some samples had less scent than others, so I wouldn't judge the scent just by the sample.
