Default Estate Sale Find (you guys like looking at razors, right?)

Grand total of $4 spent on these. I'd say a good score. If only I hadn't just bought the same brush handle for restoration off of ebay. Oh, well. Now I'll do two! :D

Something I'll save for when I have a lady in my life. I'm actually really glad I found one of these.
I was tempted to buy one for just such a future purpose, but the ebay prices didn't sound great. Hard to beat $0.50.

This ball-end is a really cool find, I think. Did he get frankenrazored though?

Looks like a proper version of this variation of Contract Tech to me. All those for $4 is a great deal, by the way!

I have a set (my birth razor) and I'll tell you the truth, it's a light weight, skinny aluminum handled tech that feels small and frail to me. On mine, the base plate is black and the head a shiny black. The shave is very very mild. I just have it as a display piece. The date code is on the razor blades that came with the original. Thanks to a member here, I have the complete set.

Great deals, even if they had been $4 each.

Haha, yes it does. I haven't cleaned it or anything yet, and I found it pretty neat that the cardboard insert is still in there.

Anyone familiar with the "My-Te-Fine" blades? The box is still sealed with plastic wrap.

    Just a hint mate,

If you get a lady in your life, never, never, ever even think about telling her that eBay prices were too high and you picked up something for her for $0.50!!!!!!!

What if I show her the before picture that makes it evident how much effort I put into it? I see what you mean though. Hopefully she is a lady who has a taste for fine things, but appreciates thriftiness.
