Hi everyone,
Just thought I would make my first post on B&B. I've been lurking here for a little while since I've been introduced to wet shaving with a DE razor. I got tired of spending almost 20+ bucks on a 4 pack of Fusion cartridge razors, and when I came across some websites talking about DE shaving I was instantly intrigued. So a little over a month ago I picked up a Merkur 34C HD, a Van Der Hagen shave set (cheap but effective when new), and have been enjoying my shaving experience ever since. I have given myself some good cuts trying to break a 15 year habit of applying pressure and rushing, but have been getting better. Also currently using the AOS Sandalwood cream (pretty impressed) and Merkur blades which have been ok but I'm going to look to experiment.
Just want to say hello before I rant on too long.

Welcome to B&B. I am also learning the hard way. Very light pressure and correct blade angle make a big difference.
