I'm in for consideration. I'm currently using Prospect Creek, Lime and Marrakesh. Having tried rose soaps from SRD, Trumper, QED and others, I would love a chance to compare your rose/lemon creation with them and their scents.

Michelle, I'm certainly interested in trying this particular flavor of your wonderful soaps!

I just read a description of Adirondak Jack...OH MY!!!! That's definitely going on my "to buy" list!

There’s a woodsy quality to this fragrance from oakmoss and vetiver with a touch of myrrh in the base, with some sweet dried tobacco and a little tangerine and soft floral accord. It’s a masculine scent but more understated than either Marrakesh or Cedar & Sage, with less patchouli and no cedarwood. I named it in remembrance of my grandfather John "Jack" Murphy who built a log cabin there with his sons and brother back in the 1940’s.

Would love to try it. I enjoy your soaps very much. Been looking for a good citrus scent for my summer months.

I would also like to be considered. I currently am a huge fan of the Coconut and Orange Vanilla, both of which I use in my rotation.

I have a hunch that, along with "gimme soap," getting her name wrong is not going to vault you into 'selected' territory.

Teasing of course, but the wonderful woman's name is Michelle.

I love lemon, I love rose. This week I've been using MW lilac, which may be the best scented soap i've ever used. Count me in.

Count me in. Your Cedar and Sage is my favorite followed by Marrakesh. I am going to have give Yukon Jack a try.

For me there is nothing like a citrus punch in the face early in the morning. I get up before the family and get them ready. Rose would be a bonus. Will it be a yellow and blue make green thing? ie neither truthfulness comes through true?

Love your coconut already. Raising my glass to you Michelle. Can't wait to see your final interpretation.

Let's have the likeability of Trumpers meets the obnoxious over the top love of Santa Maria Novella (fragrances) meets some honest to goodness Italian lemon. Penhaligons Castille was an elegant attempt at this - beautiful stuff.

    Hello,

Count me in, as the original thread got me interested.

No problem to help reduce shipping cost by combining with another scent :-)

Having heard all the wonderful write-ups about your products here in the past, I'd love to have the opportunity to try one or two. However living in the UK shouldn't be a major drawback - what kind of shipping costs are we likely to incur, and with a product this good isn't it a small price to pay?
If you only think you can, maybe you shouldn't!

This has been fun! 35 people have responded, either here or by pm, and I've got my eight testers picked out. I will send out samples that should arrive at the end of this coming week, and I imagine you'll form an opinion pretty quickly (they should all lather identically, being from the same unscented batch of soap with just the blend of scents as variations on the theme of lemon/rose). I hope there will be some clear consensus as to which blend is best although I realize YMMV. And remember, everything can be tweaked: if the rose or the lemon is still not in the right balance, we can tweak that. If a different rose fo would be better, I'll experiment. If the overall scent concentration needs to be stronger or weaker, that can be done as well. Just so that you keep in mind: this is not a finished product, just a trial.

Now, those of you who wanted to try the soap but didn't make it into the testing group: I really hate to disappoint people. Soooo....when the final version has been decided, I'll make a regular batch and send a small free sample to everyone who has responded up to now (and who lives in the States) but wasn't chosen to be a tester. That's about 25 guys - I'll contact you for an address. It may take a while to get the first batch done - we have to wait for test results to come in, make any adjustments and then wait two weeks after I make the final batch for it to be ready to cut...but you'll get to try the finished version first. International customers will get a free sample added to their next order, or if you want to pay the postage of course I'd love to send you a sample.

Here are the testers (and if I don't have your addy, please pm me):

    Predict
    70Menthol
    TheVezz
    Chriseoguy
    AlabamaLawyer
    MChad
    petr
    Seizure

Thanks to everybody who answered here and participated in the original thread, this is the kind of thing that's really fun for us soapmakers too. If the soap is absolutely gorgeous, I'd be willing to try an eo blend in a limited quantity.
