    I do.
I'm a 100% shower shaver in these warmer months.

Shaving in front of the sink when it's 80 degrees and 10% humidity, the lather tries too quickly and I end up with irritation, and it's a pain to constantly rehydrate the lather, so I move all shaving activity into the shower where I can duck into the cool water and the lather remains well hydrated.

I've been a 100% shower shaver for close to 20 years, started shaving my head in 2006. I still use carts on my head, but use the straight on my face whether shaving in the shower or in front of the sink.

Once it cools off in a few months, I'll move back to the scuttle in front of the sink.

This is my whole routine, which I follow EVERYTIME I shave...

    1. Hot water fills my Moss Scuttle and bowl, brush goes inside.
    2. Brush Teeth/Listerine wash
    3. Shower
    4. Dry Off...Apply antiperspirant
    5. Facelather...then refill the moss scuttle with hot water. I put a few dabs of water in the holder to keep foam from drying out.
    6. I always shave in the same manner hitting the same areas in the same order. All this is done commando, I know its dangerous with a straight..haha.
    7. Rinse with cold water....aftershave....clean brush....

Same here. I also like to pretend I am mantic or someone making a shave video on youtube even though I haven't actually done that.

I actually open the head up to expose the blade a little, then run it under the hot water. Gives me that "hot knife through butter" feel lol

Hi...I'm Krodor. <hi krodor!> I have a problem. I count. And I have to finish on a nice round number. Even if I lose count, I take a guess and continue counting from there, always finishing on a multiple of ten. Sometimes I get momentum up and pass my target number, so I can't stop until I get to a number ending in zero!! Honing, stropping, whipping lather...OH THE HUMANITY!!!

I clean that ring of hair that is left at top of sink and my brush at the same time by holding my brush under the stream of water and then sqeeze it out over the top edge of the sink. I do this four times each covering one quarter of the sink.

I always put a squirt of Dial 'Anti-Bacterial' soap in the sink rinse water. When you consider how many germs get washed off and or spit onto it's surface, and then think about introducing them into little nicks or cuts on your face by shaving, you might understand why! Ever since I've been doing this, I've had far fewer skin problems. I'll usually do a quick face wash with Dial Gold before rinsing and after shaving, as well. (yes, I've mentioned this before on here, so sorry if this is a repeat for you)

Like Chiminesch, I say after applying the aftershave, "Perfect BBS shave, should last at least 9 to 10 hours." I also picture him shaving while I'm shaving because it was from studying his video that I really mastered it.

I like to touch my fingers on the soap or cream of the day and rub it together between my fingers just before getting in the shower. It lathers just a bit as I step into the shower, giving me a sampling of the scent to look forward to during my post-shower shave :-)

I am OCD about getting lather on my hands. I am ok with getting it on my hand when buffing as I can just wipe it off on a towel. When making a lather it is another matter as my ocd side makes me stop and clean the edge of the bowl, the handle of the brush, my hands and the inside upper lip of the bowl just in case it wants to creep out again and get all over the handle. the funny little things that make us tick.

    1. Fill sink with warm/hot water and soak mug, brush and razor before getting in the shower.
    2. Shirtless. I think this is due to my exuberant brush technique - if I wore a shirt it would be messy.
    3. Always start on right side of face (am right-handed).

My quirk is I must have a hot blonde with me when I shave in the shower. Just kidding.

There's a ton of stuff on this thread that I've been doin too, didn't realize that I was doing some of them. I recently added one to my routine, been using a VDH boar I was breaking in to face lather preshave soap. It is only used for this and is the only brush used for this. I think its because I don't want that soap on my other brushes. Or maybe because I'm crazy.
