  1. Default Long Over Due Streamline Review.

OK here goes, Ever since i tried the 1914 Gem I must say that SE Shaving is in a Different Category all by its self, These Gem Razors Are very Efficient and well Made.

Now the Ever Ready Streamline is like the King of SE's its Heft feels great, Its Chrome plating is Outstanding, Its Shave is Superb and very, very Efficient More Aggressive then Any SE of that Style i have tried, its kinda like the R41 2011 of SE's but without the Weepers.

I can Feel the weight of the Razor as Soon as i place it on my Face, "Love It" Knurling on Handle is deep and comfortable, No slippage problem here guys, Even with wet hands :o)

The shave is Comfortable but more on the aggressive side, this is where experience counts when it comes to using this guy, No Pressure Needed, Short strokes do help prevent less irritation for me. All and all its an Excellent Well Made Well Balanced Razor, Its An Awesome Razor I know this See will last a life time and then some :o)

If you haven't tried one and you are loving your SE's you owe it to yourself one day :o)

That is an exceptionally beautiful example! I'd be frightened to shave with it and possibly ruin its beauty.

Great review, the one you kindly gave me is in my rotation and i love it. I do short strokes too and it works. I also try less passes and concentrate on beard reduction. Phil may move this to the SE section.

That Streamline looks very minty! And the handle is such a great looker. Form and function.

Seems like most Streamlines you see are in really nice condition, wonder if ASR put a couple o' extree layers of chrome on 'em, as compared to their cheaper razors.

    It's a terrible burden.
You don't have to bear it alone.

I envy you all. I love my 1912 and 1924. I need a Streamline before I feel complete.

For sure these stream line have superb plating compared to any other ASR. Even the one i gave Alex The Head was in Great Shape, The Handle Had Light Brassing, But still in Great Shape, Yes these streamline have some serious plating.

The Streamlines are definitely one one the best coated razors. They need no replating even after all thees years.

Late to the party on this one but I have to say that I am envious of that razor! My streamlines are all in the beige boxes....that red is awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it. But the question remains, which is your favorite SE right now? I see you singing the praises of your 1914 a lot. Which do you like better?

1912 and 1914 for every day or ever other day shaving, for 3 or more days of beard growth, its the Streamline by a mile. :o)
