    Default Personna Barbers

With all the Hype about Personna Med Preps and Labs, I decided to try some of them and also some Personna Barbers. Wow what a difference.

The Med Preps seemed to be close to an S.I. which means very good, almost as good as a Feather.

The Barbers were one of the few blades I have taken out after less than one pass. Before I took it (the Barber) out, I picked up another razor with an S.I. in it, just to make sure my prep was not to blame. After that the Barber went in the bin. I could probably get a better shave from my Kershaw Leek. I can't believe the same company is responsible for both the Med Preps and Barbers.

Incidentally I think I agree that the Med Preps and the Labs are essentially the same. If I ever run out of Feathers or S.Is. I know that the Med Preps/Labs will work. The Barbers were worse than the counterfeit S.I.s I bought last year.

The Personna Barber blade is one of the few blades I've not seen on ANYONE'S list of favorite blades. That and the 7 A.M. are the only two I can think of.

I think they must be on the "Other List"

Are these Barber or Lab blades then? I added 10 when ordering Injector and SE blades.

Yep. And the Barbers come in a plain white wrapper.

I have the Med Preps, Labs, and Barbers. IMHO, the Barbers don't even come close to the Med Preps or Labs. Thankfully I didn't waste any money on them. They came free with a bulk order I placed sometime last year.

The barbers took a bite in the bin too. Ouch. A bottle cap would have the same result. The lab blue on the other hand are one of my favorite.

Great thread timing. I just received samples of 10 each med prep, lab and barber. Yes, the barbers come in plain white wrapper, so those would be the labs.

Barbers make me wonder "What were they thinking" I can't imagine anyone buying them twice. Then there are a lot of blades I feel that way about.
