I love the case. With a little padding, it could be a perfect beater case for my service set. I think I saw one of those razors with a butterscotch handle. Looked pretty sweet.

I cannot comment on the razor but I love the description underneath it which includes the warning "Keep it out of the children!!!"

I got mine a few days back. Chongo Gordo pretty much said what there is to be said. I'd say a bit more aggressive than a Tech. I got a nice shave out of it. My iKon handle fits on it, so I'll probably give that a shot some time with it. One complaint it that the head is narrower than most DE's, and the blade tabs stick out noticeably more than normal. This make it tough to hold the head, and screw on the handle, which I usually do by holding the sides of the head. That said, you can actually hold it on the blade edge side, without any problem.

I think I may have been too harsh in my judgment. It's a cheap razor, but well worth the $4.99 (shipping included). I did shave with it once before giving it to a friend. A big contrast to the Fatip I've been using, but a very nice, mellow shave. The case is nice, if only my old type would fit inside, maybe an uncased Tuckaway would be a good match.

And no, I am not a paid sales rep for a Chinese consortium.

I saw one I almost bought the other day. I think it was a sheraton in the U.S. for $16.....shipping was only $87.

Was it worth $4.99 and free shipping? Hmm, I'm probably not going to use this razor more than once. I can't use the case as I intended. But it's not a bad little set, I'm not sure if I'd recommend it even at that price.
It's a shame you had no luck using it as a travel case. The case does have a certain charm to it. I'd almost prefer an even cheaper option (save those pennies!) with just the case because I can't see myself using the razor that comes with it all. I did just order a Tech with a case that looks even gaudier from the pictures.
