After hearing about all the fun everyone is having with this I had to join in. I made some tonight. I am getting ready to close up shop and relocate so it was my last shot at something new in this shop. I used only EO. I made it as I do for the Rose Otto soaps I have made in the past and added Lemon EO after I had the Rose EO at full strength. I made half of the batch Bulgarian Rose with lemon and the other half only Bulgarian Rose. I was debating making a few Bulgarian Rose with Lemon Verbena as an alternative to Lemon EO. The best part I have my home for sale and if I am lucky the house will still smell great in the morning when the potential buyers walk through again.

"As much as you can use without changing the fragrance". The Bulgarian Lavender EO Splash was perfect, if you can dig that formula up. Thanks Wendy.

It has been a long and more than exhausting year for me so far. I am getting close to getting back to "normal". The contractor starts building my new shop at new home June 25th. I cannot wait to be able to have a big functional shop again. The home I bought was a foreclosure and every inch had to be painted, even ceilings. I think the previous owners hung everything they brought in the home. I even had to remove a magnetic board from the hallway. When I say magnetic board I am talking about a piece of sheet metal that was 14ftx7ft sunk into the wall, when you walked out of the guest bathroom all you saw was the metal. lol. All the flower beds were over 2 feet high in weeds and it seems like the builder used the yard as his rock disposal dumping grounds. I did not keep one light fixture, horrible. Even the shutters on the house were hideous. lol When I get everything together I need to post some before and after pics, the house is 8 years old and they managed to make it look as if it were 30. Needless to say, it has been a huge task, I have done almost every bit by myself while taking care of all three kids and maintaining both homes. UGH. But now I see the light. Movers are scheduled next week and I am hoping by the end of July to be back to my normal chaos. : )

Good to see you Wendy. Glad that things are progressing. Is your rose/lemon soap available for sale yet? I have an order ready to go but would love to add some of the new soap.

I have always liked the rose smelling soaps, without wanting to use them. I felt like they were missing something. Mike's Natural rose/cedar wasn't it, but I think this lemon/rose idea might just be the one.

Sue, may I lobby for this to be your next 1oz sample special?

Yes it is ready. It is not on the site, I am having my webmaster turn the website off tonight. If you have an order you can email me everything you want, I will send you an invoice since it will not be active on my site.

Sounds like an interesting combination. My rotation now and has been for the last 2 months have been Klar Kabinett (Rose) and Arko (I get Lemon out of that scent).
Maybe I should just try and mash them together 50/50ish and see what happens. Thanks for the idea.

Haha-I'm trying to control my ADs at the moment, so no more soap for me, but I just drank one of these and thought of this thread. Perhaps some of you would be interested?: Pretty tasty
