And, further disclaimers, this is a 40s Shake Sharp that I used this morning with Proraso and a badger brush, not this old boar! Great theme, BTW, perhaps I will have time this week to do something a bit more age appropriate (for a 40s razor true black and white- for a 50s razor, something that looks like a poleroid) and true to SOTD (all ingredients used that day). But the theme itself hooked me!

    Monday Morning

    HBS Cedarwood Amber SS
    Simpson Colonel X2L
    Gillette Gold Tech
    Astra SP (2)
    Alum block
    Trumper's Astor

Great 2 pass business morning shave. CCS with no issues. The HBS Cedarwood Amber has a strong lasting scent - which I like - Paired with the Astor it is a day long walk in a cedar wood...

Nearing the end of this Godrej cream, no frills, but it gave me very comfortable shaves, somewhere close to Nivea. Very cushiony. Nice ending with ViJon's Ivy Club Spice as splash.

    Guinot Aftershave Balm

Absolutely wonderful shave, I am loving the Bergamotto Neroli. Fantastic soap, and together with the Semogue it is incredible.
I received the balm as a gift, and it is the best aftershave product I have used.

    Anniversary shave.

Wow, It's been a year already?

Got my first straight June 4th 2011.

Todays SOTD is shot on film, yes real film, not a digital camera. Camera is a Rolleiflex 2.8C, film is Fujifilm Neopan 400, Kodak T-Max developer.
