Mine has long been the Old Spice AP/D that is the paste that mashes up through the top of the container. I think it used to be their Red Zone, now I think they came out with Sweat Defense. Whatever the name this stuff goes on easy, doesn't require a haircut after I put it on and it doesn't leave me feeling like I just Astroglided my pits. It keeps sweating down to a minimum and smells better than sweaty pits (about my only standard with deodorants). The paste form is easy to meter for consistent application and is easy to spread around and never leaves chunks, pills or 'berries.

    Speed Stick Original.
It is just soap, hot water and a sharp blade. It isn't rocket science or a Zen ritual.

I'm real picky on deodorants and perfumes. However the past few weeks I've sort of opened my mind a bit and grown willing to try some new yet "old school" scents. I've just ordered Taylor of Old Bond str. Sandalwood-stick and consider getting the whole range of T&H 1805 / Trafalgar / Grafton.
Anyways I'm running the risk of sounding posh, but here it goes. My deo-rotation:

Armani "Diamonds" - Stick and Eau de Toilette
Juicy Coutures "Dirty English" - Stick and Eau de Toilette
J.P. Gaultier "Le Male" - Stick and Eau de Toilette
Davidoff "Cool Water" - Stick and Eau de Toilette

Well there has been a lot of posting on deoderants, some people don't like alum and I believe these have alum but I thought this was worth a post.

Some people talk about bad sweating and these clinical stuff or "higher medicated" deodorant, and I saw these at the market and were curious a while ago (I don't have problems with mine, just curiosity).

Before you buy these, look at the ingredients on the deodorant you were going to buy and this one. I've compared them and sometimes they have more than some deodorants do, but it seemed like they were very close in strength or equal to a lot of deodorants, yet much more expensive, they seem like a marketing gimmick.

I've been using Degree for a long time with no problem, never changing it. I did once try their "see-through" sticks instead of the powder stick and it caused a horrible reaction. I got a 2-pack and for some reason didn't realize what it was, I learned the hard way that I was allergic to it.

Anybody tried Dove deodorant? I saw an article today on yahoo about best product for men, and in the deodorant category they recommended dove.

On topic, I just switched from old spice pure sport anti-deodorant/perspirant to old spice fiji anti-deodorant only. I didn't know the anti perspirant causes discoloration on shirts. That explains alot of my white shirt discoloration around the underarm area.

I've been curious about Malin & Goetz Eucalyptus Deodorant and bought a stick several weeks ago. The stuff really works and it has a very slight smell but it doesn't interfere with my cologne.

I only use the salt deodorant. It leaves no smell to interfere with my cologne choice and it last a long time if applied correctly.

Though I've tried Toms, it doesn't work for me. I use Right Guard deodorant, but my favorite is Speed Stick.

Yep, I've been using this Red Zone --> Sweat Defense for 10+ years. I try others occasionally, and immediately go right back. It just works. Nothing has ever really come close. If I do change someday, it would only be because I'm finally overwhelmed by the anti-aluminum talk.

I usually pick up the multi packs of the Gillette clear gel deodorant at Costco. Seems to do the trick for me..

I too used this for almost 10 years and thought it was the best. I recently decided to go away from antiperspirants though. I just started using Arm and Hammer Natural deodorant. This stuff got put to the test right away. The first 3 days I used it the temp was 90+ degrees. I wear 30 lbs of gear for work. By the end of the day I didn't smell at all! Usually with the Old Spice I would have a mix of my deodorant scent mixed with a little BO scent, but now with the Arm and Hammer stuff.

Have been using Sure unscented for years. Used to use the regular scent, until I started using aftershaves regularly. Don't want 2 scents clashing. Sure is an antiperspirant so, not really what you may want for you non aluminum people, but Sure surely works. And don't call me Shirley.

By the way, since I always wear under shirts, staining is not an issue for me.

I've just switched to Menscience this week. I've got a bit of iritation but that's to be expected with the change. I appreciate this post as I'm looking for a few new options.
