    I'm trying to up load an image.
    What is the best method Directly from my pc or from some other site (Image shack)??

    does not matter. You can use the built in forum image tool which is the easiest (shown below).

    Or the attachment function from the advanced editor.

    Or external hosting and the BBS [img] tag
