Due to the buy 2 get 1 free sale I was able to snag 3 small tubes for $10.78... A total of 5.1 oz. Can't wait to shave with this cream tomorrow... right in time for summer.

The new version still has SLS (Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate) and it is listed there on your box. The Parabens have been replaced though.

SLS usually refers to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate - a much stronger surfactant than Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate and often connected to irritated skin.

Just shaved with this... I LOVE THIS STUFF. I popped a feather in my old type. Yes you read that right. BBS, no irritation, no SLS, my face feels great and I'm fresh as a cucumber after that menthol blast.

    Thank you Italy!

I just got back from picking up three of the small tubes from my local BBW. All three are the new formula, I forgot to check if the larger ones they had were still the old. It does seem that the stores near me have the small tubes in the new formula.

I am glad that on my last visit to Bath and Body Works that I picked up 3 large tubes for the 2 for 1 price.

I don't want the new formula. I want the old formula. But with more mentholyptus scent and hell, throw in a couple more squirts of parabens.

I am with you, sprinkle it with some fresh SLS and it's good to go

Agreed. I picked up a tube of this from BBW just because I havent tried the cream, only the original Proraso croap in the tub. Didn't even realize this was the new formula until I saw this thread! Checked the ingredients, and sure enough, no parabens.

Probably the best lather Ive gotten in a long time too. Two days in and I love the stuff. Glad to finally have a quality soap I can pick up in the store.

Here's a thread for parabens if you all still wondering if they are good for you or not...

Just returned from my local BBW in Frisco, TX and the 5.2oz tube I purchased contained the old formula. They are also on sale, buy two, get one free.
