Cant wait to see the results im not voting i,ve only tried a Feather and a Otnef!!!
This is an interesting poll and I bet a lot of people (and myself) would like to know what would be the best overall razor is. But you have to keep in mind how expensive Stainless Steel razors are and that not many people would have a large selection of them.
Prices last time I checked are:
Pils: $250 (I think)
iKon: $225 (S3S), $159 (OSS)
Tradere: $150
Weber: $70 (DLC w/ Bulldog handle)
not counting any that I missed, the total cost of listed SS razors is: $854
I only have two SS razors, the iKon S3S (w/ bamboo handle) and the OSS. Out of these two razors I would recommend the OSS over the S3S. Why? Well basically I find the OSS just as effective as the S3S but less irritating and easier to shave with.
Finish w/ handles:
S3S: Glossy mirror finish. Short handle, bulldog or bamboo.
OSS: Brushed finish (not a mirror finish). with a long handle w/ good grip.
note: if you want the S3S, get the version with the Bulldog handle. My fingers like to seek out the smooth sections of the bamboo handle and I find myself having a hard time gripping the razor when I shave.
I am not wise. If I thought I was, I wouldn't learn anything.
Personally, the fit and finish of the elusive Otnef (for those not in the "know"...the RAREST of all razors) razors are second bare none.
The problem most B&B members will have when trying to find one .... none of our vendors carry them......
Last I've "heard" , One has to be willing to travel to a small diner in Mississippi...knock on a door, where one is hoodwinked and thrown into a car....after several hours you are put into a dark room and asked to chose between 4 door.....one leads to the Otnef...in which case you will need to transfer $4,180.93 to a undisclosed Swiss account, and the other three doors.....well , lets say we have never heard back from those members......

Are there other stainless razors than on this poll?
I'm looking to invest in a stainless steel razor, any suggestions or experiences? I'm interested in a mild to moderately aggressive razor that is constructed to last for years without corrosion or pitting. I'm favoring the iKon since its made of corrosion resistant 316L steel.
Tradere catching up and its a rookie razor....can u imagine when it gets more followers

I didn't know Tradere made a razor! Thought they only made handles. Anyway, I love that head design but the fact that it's open comb turns me away.
Yeah the Tradere is milled from solid stainless..while the Weber's head is cast.
Which would explain the rather large price difference at least.
I own all of the ones listed except the "other" brand (I can't think of another stainless razor either).
I have not had time to shave with either the Weber or Tradere (and my iKon is still not here after 2 weeks) so I can't say which of the group you list is the best shaver. I might revisit this poll after I my iKon gets here and I have the time to shave with all of them close together so that I can see if one stands out over the rest as far as performance.
As far as the highest quality. I think they are all #1 in that respect.

IMHO the Feather needs a less mild "Red Tip" version to be made available, but judging from the results thus far.....I guess not.
There is some inherent bias, given that Tradere doesn't have as significant a "beta-pool" as the others. You'll also have a modestly rarified pool of folks that have actually tried/owned more than 2 of those mentioned. Results are interesting, nonetheless...![]()
Polls like this you can't tell if 24 Feather users voting to date. Or 24 people who recognize the Feather name and voted that way.
Maybe more accurate if each user of said razor post so. Instead of 50 votes or so and 20 posts.
