Yeah, but where are the SEM images of the PicoPaper and the lab tests showing that the D.I.S.H. S.O.A.P. is 99.999999999000000% pure? I mean, my Swedish steel is the best, purest and hardest, and I don't want to hone it on anything but the very best.

I'm about to unveil the YoctoHone, and I'm working on a way to get the grit size down to the Planck length. Stay tuned.
We did some math down here at the German *Das Rasierer* labs, regarding the use of Nano-, Femto-, Yocto-, Pico- and Pacopaper as a substitute for high end Japanese rock formations.
Down here at our German labs we are proud to announce that especially the use of Pico-Paper in combination with the DISH SOAP works,
as long as you are honing idealized, spherical ferric objects in a 100% Vacuum.
You can read the complete article in our journal *Das Furz* or online at www.DasHomepage.german at a price of only 29.99Euros (or 565USD).
If you have further questions regarding the article or want to make a donations please send any kind of sausage at [email protected]
Kind regards
Dr. Hugo Kraut
Head of *Das Rasierer* laboratory

Breaking news:
I just received news that our Japanese colleagues at *Nakayama-Ohzuku-Shoubudani* labs ferociously attacked our article in public and officially claimed our statements to be false.
In addition we have received an article stating that, and we quote "[...] the use of pico paper and DISH SOAP in lieu of traditional Japanese (or any other Asian) hone-ware will lead to a reduction of the carbon content in any given razor.
The high sulfonic acid content of over 290 mg/L in the compound called "DISH SOAP" will lead to decarbonification in a mechanism yet to be revealed. Since the model of our admired colleagues at Germany's *dasrasierer* is referring to "[...] spherical ferric objects in a 100% Vacuum" the lack of carbon in the ferric objects can not be considered. The release of carbon will lead to a dramatic increase of the free carbon content (FCC) in the honing fluid. Honing fluids with a FCC of above 235 are known to be explosive if the honing speed surpasses 30 m/s. Standard honing speed measurements [1] revealed velocities up to 34 m/s. Traditional Japanese (or any other Asian) hone-ware is known to be stable with honing velocities up to 162 m/s."

Further breaking news:
We just have been informed that our Belgian colleagues at "croissant de lune" in collaboration with the Russian laboratories "камень" claimed[2] that the garnets in coticules will actually act as carbon-captor, reducing free carbon content thus permitting honing velocities up to 239 m/s, the highest velocity ever measured in honing.

A statement of the Seraphim laboratories in the US regarding the dangers of explosion and sudden self combustion of honing fluids containing DISH SOAP is eagerly awaited.

Hey Seraphim, is that granite block you are using from Lee Valley Tools ?

Big deal. I've been using yocto paper for years.

Considering the guy who started the pogonotomy forum, I guess that's close enough.

Sorry guys, maybe I've been out of circulation for too long in the english speaking world but WTH is Pico Paper? Is it like tracing paper?
It is a patented, revolutionary development in honing technology.
It is the latest, the greatest, it will put your Jnats, coticles (with or without oil), Shaptons, choseras, etc to shame.
$29.99 for a pack of ten, act now.
Or just use a piece of regular copy paper under your lapping film.

But copy paper has no mojo.
Uh-oh.
