Default Storing Used Leaves For Rebrewing Question

First off, I'm very new to loose leaf tea as well as wetshaving and everything I've read has been very helpful. Anyways, I've read that you can rebrew most tea multiple times but how should I store the wet leaves to use the next day? Do most people just drink multiple cups a day and use the same leaves for one day and the next day get some new ones? Usually I only drink one cup in the morning but I don't want to have to use new leaves everyday.

best way would be to spread them over something so they can dry so to perserve the flavor the most because i find if wet leaves sit they get muddy in flavor.

I keep them in whatever I'm brewing in. Usually a gaiwan. Just don't leave water in it. Rinse with cold water next day and brew on. Three days are the most I will go....usually just two....because I'm tired of the tea by then.

I just store my used leaves in my Brown Betty for the next brewing. I usually only use the leaves for 2 infusions, so they do not sit for very long. After the 2nd pot, I clean out the Brown Betty and then I am ready to go for the next go round.
